Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!! We have had a busy couple of days and needless to say we are all pooped, but our hearts are full! Yesterday we went back home to visit our families. Charles and I were very excited to spend Christmas day at home with our cute little babe! We enjoyed watching her eat all the wrapping paper and bows. She's still a little young to fully understand but it was still just as magical! Can't wait for next year to when she'll be a little more into unwrapping EVERY present!

Advent Calendar: Fro-Yo & Cookies

Merry Christmas Eve Eve! Since I've been doing a terrible job of making sure we did all of our advent calendar activities these are the last two I will post about!

We went and had frozen yogurt at Spoons! Allison loved it but wasn't so sure about how cold it was! She would make this adorable little face and then immediately want more. Silly girl.

We also made cookies for Santa after we got frozen yogurt!

Slobbery Ornaments and Christmas Trees

Since  I got off of work early today, Allison and I popped on over to Brenham to help my grandparents get their house ready for all of the Christmas festivities next weekend! Allison had a blast! She played with their puppy Cooper and slobbered on all of the lower part of the Christmas tree!

Our Weekend in Pictures

With Christmas almost here and the cooler weather here to stay I thought I'd do another one of our "Mama + Mini" Posts to go along with our Weekend in Pictures!

Mama & Mini

Baseball Tee | Scarf | Vest | Jean Jacket | Polka Dot One Piece | Gray One Piece | Hello Sweatshirt

I just ordered this baseball tee from American Eagle and I'm patiently waiting for it to arrive. I'm pretty obsessed with scarves right now too. That's probably only because it's like a freaking meat locker in my office at wor

Yummy Spaghetti O's and Sprinkle Cheese. She's a girl after my own heart...once I put the cheese on them she annihilated them!

Crap everywhere.

We really really need to lower her crib mattress soon, she is starting to pull up and stand in her crib. She also must think the crib rails taste good too, or she's trying to kick a smoking habit.

I love how Charlotte is watching over her! What a good kitty!

Also, crap still everywhere. Oh well she had fun, that's all that matters.

Snack time! She loves cheese and crackers. She also has this thing going on where she continually is missing one sock.  I have no idea where they go to half of the time.

She still likes the box it came in better than the actual toy!

Shopping for Groceries! I She was super excited about these baby bananas! No more wasting big ones!

We hope you all had a great weekend!  We were missing daddy but had a great time snuggling and NOT cleaning the house!

December 11th: Make up Day-- Visit Santa (Worst Santa Ever)

First off, Allison was so tired. Secondly, Allison knows how to look at the camera better than Santa. We had to take literally 20 pictures just to get this mediocre one. Oh well...at least she didn't cry.

I know I'm biased but She really is the cutest!

December 12th: Play with Christmas Lights

I plan on doing a better 'photo shoot' of her in her jammies and I "HEART" Santa outfit but these were for fun!

Advent Calendar Activities

I am so incredibly behind with posting our advent calendar activities. A couple of the activities we had to post-pone  due to the weather. We are planning on taking Allison to see Santa either tomorrow or Thursday! I hope she doesn't freak out!

December 3rd: Deck the Halls

I love the Christmas holiday and decided that since it was Allison's first Christmas we needed to make it even more special aka: more work for mom. I used ornaments from last year to make twine Christmas ornaments. Our theme is "A Very Rustic Christmas". I think what we have so far turned out excellent. There are still quite a few more projects I want to do so hopefully I'll get to them all before Christmas!

December 4th: Make an Ornament

We attempted to make a cute star ornament out of twigs but Allison decided she would rather crush the sticks. We got a few pictures of her working on the star before it became a heaping pile of sticks.

I didn't have the energy to redo it since we . So we just won't have them this Christmas.

December 5th: Read a Christmas Book

December 6th: Make a Christmas Card

We decided to make a Christmas card for Charles' grandma who is in the hospital. Someone liked helping mommy cut out the 'hand'tlers! What a little cutie!

December 7th: Go See Santa

We had to post-pone due to bad weather!

December 8th: Visit a Live Nativity

We have to come up with a different activity since there wont' be another live nativity in the area this year. Dang freezing weather!

December 9th: Have Hot Chocolate

Charles has had Hot Chocolate every night this week. I think he likes it!
